NKETIAH DISCUSSES ARSENAL SPEED MERCHANTS

A lot of Gunners fans know that Arsenal skipper Pierre-EmerickAubameyang is a speed merchant but what they didn't know is that there's a player at the club that can rival Pierre-EmerickAubameyang as the fastest player at the club according to Gunners striker Eddie Nketiah. The young Arsenal attacker talked about the speed merchants at the club while he was fielding questions on the Sky Sports YouTube channel.

England junior international Nketiah said Ainsley Maitland-Niles has been on loan at West Brom in recent months and that he is one Arsenal player that can give Pierre-EmerickAubameyang a run for his money in a race.
England international Maitland-Niles had to leave the Gunners for West Brom in the January transfer window to secure regular first team football. The utility player can function well on either side of the defence as well as in midfield.

Maitland-Niles was able to meet his target of regular playing time at the Hawthorns in the first half of this year but his performances were not good enough to prevent West Brom from being demoted to the English Championship.

The relegation for West Brom was confirmed at Arsenal last season and ironically, Maitland-Niles didn't play against his parent club as part of the loan deal that took him to the midlands club. Maitland-Niles has been talking about his future this summer and that he's not sure of his current status at Arsenal. One thing that's sure is that the England international will return to the Gunners this summer after the end of his loan spell at West Brom. His loan deal at the midlands club expires at the end of this month.

For 31-year-old Aubameyang, he didn't have the best of seasons for Arsenal in the last Premier League campaign netting just 10 goals in the competition.
